Great to see you all today - cheers folks!

Things about guitar gear that I've learnt today:

* My 2x12 cab sounds great with different amps
* I like Splawn Quick Rods.  Lots.
* 8 string guitars have FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT necks
* Juansolo builds some mighty fine gee-tar effects  8)
* But don't let him and shobet breed their pedals.  Chaos ensures!

Other notes:

* La Grange is officially the most played song.  Ever.
* Lots of men in a hot room sweat buckets
* I know nothing about modern metal music..........

Thanks again guys, here's to the next one!

Firstly, thank you all for turning up. I hope you all had a good a time as I did.

Anyway here we go some crime scene pictures.

I'm now officially deaf

Juansjolo, Marauder and Twinfan, with twin doing an impression of one of the Black Crows

Matt's reply when asked 'how many chords do you know?'

Oooh pedals!

Thanks to Juansolo for bringing this Motley bunch of reprobates!

A marriage made in heaven. Juansolo's Elunium PU36 Explosive Space Modulator into a Moog MuRF. You had to be there...

And last but not least, JDC doing his finest Blue Steel!

Who's a pretty boy then?

I'm sure there will be more people with some pics, so please add them if you have them.

Fun times!

Yeah, was good to meet people. Some great gear, people and players.

Ahhhh, the moogerfooger + other thing = very silly formula. I believe we proved it pretty conclusively.

The electra kicked rather a bit of arse as well. Very promising indeed.

Cheers for organising today Shobet, had a good day!

I'm rubbish with names but 'think' I can remember who you all are by user name on here!

The neck on that 8 String wasn't overly fat, but it was very wide! Surprising easy to play too I found, even though I have got small womans hands!

The 8 string taught me my limits in the ever increasing number of strings

6 = PLENTY for me to be getting on with
7 = No extra trouble, but its not for me, thanks, 6 is trouble enough
8 = WTF?

Each to their own though, of course.

Yeah, good to meet everybody. Some nice guitars, amps and pedals there today.  And plenty of like minded geeks!

The Elunium PU36 Explosive Space Modulator into the MuRF was a particular highlight.  They really let the player and instrument shine through!

Ears still ringing :D
