I don't mind ladies buying shoes, at least not pretty ones. It is the handbag obsession that I do not get.

When we sold our MG Midget, we made £120 profit.  To make herself feel better she bought a hangbag for about £150 and a matching purse for another £50 or so.  Sometimes I wonder.......... Oh yeah, she bought herself a bag to go with the car when we first got it.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Depends how you define BKPs.  If we are talking how many guitars we have BKPs in, I'm still OK: 20
If we count calibrated sets as one, I'm comfortably OK: 28 (or 30 depending on whether you define non-standard HSS sets as one or two)
If you're asking how many individual BKPs, not even close: 42
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

I have more guitars (10 or so) than pairs of shoes (4).

Do they put handbags inside other handbags? You know it's bad then.

Or they have a designer one that's so pretty it's never left the house.

Anyone else got a thing for jackets, I might have bought a new one today. :D

My small but naughty wife once wanted me to design dates on behalf of her handbags.

I am a pretty easy-going guy but I drew the line at that.

Update on my situation: I apparently have more guitars than my wife has shoes and handbags put together...

She tells me that boots is another matter - I pointed out that this would mean "more shoes" in this thread... but apparently not - "ask any woman, shoes and boots are different things"

Apparently trainers/etc don't count as shoes either...

hmm...

In that case, I have 20 times as many guitars as shoes...

I have More Guitars than shoes, probably more guitars than wife's shoes.  Definitely not more guitars than daughters or mothers shoes.  Unfortunately she inherited my mothers love of shoes, rather than my love of guitars.
