WOW! apart from stories you might hear about the design of this amp... it also looks like if it ever caught fire it would probably smoke like a burning tyre. look at all that plastic! (youve probably seen it before)

meh. apparently the preamp is directly lifted from a Kevin O'Connor book. Kevin was involved with London Power I think. though i might be wrong. but still... most amps are copied from another amp. I think what annoyed some people was that the HG100 supposedly wasn't even tweaked from the design in O'Connors book. Once someone had reverse engineered the HG100 and started post the schematics around, I think mr Roccaforte went round forums trying to stop it... claiming he had rights to what some people would say was someone elses work.

I guess that kind of thing happens all the time in industry though. And how many really expensive clones of plexi's can you get?
