Of course i was bound to do one of these someday
this isn't a complete recording. i just started learning the song yesterday for doodles, and this is my day off, so i took a few moments this morning to track this big groovy song, Combustion, opener of the obZen album.
drums are DFH2 guitar is my all mahogany set neck schecter loaded with a cold sweat bridge. sounds positively djenty
i upped the guitars in the mix for the forum clip so you can hear the distortion's detail. I used my trusty BSIAB distortion pedal into a tube poweramp to a power soak into cab impulses. bass is also my schecter 8 string guitar but with both the riff raff and cold sweat activated. same octave, a bit more groove and clunk. it really shows when i remove it from the mix
