Congratulation in passing.Good luck in your driving- assume everyone else is an idiot and that they haven't seen you and you should be ok. Always remember that you are in control of a lethal weapon and a moments lack of attention can be disastrous but all in all, tis a useful thing to be able to drive and on odd occasions can be even be enjoyable.

+1. Especially watch out for 4x4s being driving by women who don't realise the size of the vehicle they're driving! Not that I like to generalise :p

So have you got any plans for your own wheels Jonny? Or will you be forgoing that for now?

The only problem, imo, is all the other tw@ts on the road ignoring stuff because they get too comfortable and stuff, etc.

You'll get used to this soon enough... treat everyone else on the road like an idiot and you should be able to avoid getting into a crash!

By all means think (no, KNOW!) that all other road users are sh!t - it's utterly true!

But remember, as a road user, so are you :) Remembering that is the safest way to drive :)

I live in London currently for university so I'm sort of 50/50 why I would need one.

1. Commute to and from univeristy/escape this god damn city when I'm sick of it.
2. Petrol/tax/don't know roads

And I have a sister back in Belfast who doesn't have a car so we'll probably share one but nevertheless it'll be back in Belfast.

Sort of bummed I'm all "Yay" but I don't have a car, lol..

Oh well. If you're in London then it may not be worth it. I have a friend who lives there who has his own car, but lives within the congestion zone. So I think he just leaves it up here at his parents.

I don't live in the zone and thankfully will never drive in there.

But I'd love to drive to other areas for photography reasons. Grey, grey and more grey with a hint of blue and grey is not picture potential really.
