Baja wiring question
« on: September 20, 2010, 05:22:11 PM »
Hello all,

I'm looking for some wiring help! I am just getting myself prepped to install the BG flat 50s. I've got the 4-way wiring mod option on the new neck pickup but noticed that there is only one black wire on the current pickup, this connects directly to the S1 system.

Maybe I'm being stupid but I don't really know what I am supposed to do with the spare black wire.

Any help would be appreciated!
I think I hate being indecisive.

Hi Ian,

I thought there were three leads coming from the stock Baja neck pickup?  Here's the wiring diagram:

Cheers Dave - as usual I was being a doofus. Got it all wired up now but must have done something wrong. All non S1 positions are working but when activated I lose sound in a couple of positions. Too late now to try to rectify it - will do it tomorrow.

Early impressions of the BG Flat 50s are very favourable - and that's only after playing them through a UX1.
I think I hate being indecisive.
