Just playing around with the little EP - such a sweet pedal and I am addicted to it!

Sounding nice

This post is well timed; I was going to try one of those out on Saturday.

It sounds hiss free on the video. What's it like with different amps?
Oh and which way do you have the 2 internal switches?

It does add a bit of hiss, but nothing spectacular. Nothing to be worried about definitely. I've only tried it with the Cornford and haven't touched the internal switches, left them in the factory setting - sorry if I can't be of much help there, but let me see if I can find some time and test a bit around with it more.

Not to worry - I will give one a test on Saturday, they sell them about 3miles away from my home  :)

interesting pedal:

"What do the tones of renowned guitarist such as Page, EVH and Johnson have in common? They all used the legendary echo machine EP-3 as a pre-amp. We've captured that magic in a new Xotic Effects pedal, the EP Booster."

I liked it. It took me less than a minute to decide to buy it.

Yeah it does good things to the signal, doesn't it? I knew it after a few chords  :)

With the audio limits of Youtube and computer speakers I wasn't sure from your clip if it was worth buying one. But as I trust your judgement I bought one a couple of days ago. Yes, have to agree with all the above comments. It is particularly good with my Cornford Hurricane where I can use the EP on lower settings as a subtle tone enhancer or as a lead boost on higher settings - using it in conjunction with a couple of other pedals makes the Hurricane (which is a simple single channel amp) really flexible.

Really nice tones.

Do you not use your Bogner anymore?

In general I do, just at the moment I am so happy pluggin into the Mk50 and not bothering to plug the cables anywhere else right now - I will get back to the XTC though, it is an amazing amp after all!
