In the need of some reverb.

I'm going to need a nice reverb for the end of my chain. What do people recommend? I'm liking the look of the following from having read up some of the prior posts here. The budget is variable, it all depends on the pedal really. I've no objection to a £50 piece of kit or a £200.

Hardwire - RV7
Malekko - Chicklet
Dr Scientist - Radical Red Reverbulator
EH - Cathedral reverb
EH - Holy grail
T-Rex - roommate

However I'm open to suggestions for other options and experiences of the above that you discerning lot have had.

I had an EH Holy Grail and didn't really like the spring reverb type settings which is why I got rid of it in the end.  The "make it sound like I'm playing in the middle of St Paul's" hall reverb worked better to my ears though so if it's that you're after I'd certainly demo one.

I have the Hardwire, covers everything, and it also can sound like the reverb on my Fender Twin

Got the Chicklet - very Fender spring reverb if that's your bag.

I have a hardwire and use it as much than the valve driven reverb on my PRRI.

I like the Hardwire and was looking for one, but a T-Rex Tonebug came up and I bought that instead. It does spring and modern type reverbs.  :)

I have the EH Cathedral one, it's nice, but if I got a new one I'd get the Hardwire one instead I think.

I've got the Boss FRV-1 - "Fender '63 Reverb" and it sounds great to me.

The Chicklet is a fine tool. Take a look too at the Strymon Bluesky, awesome pedal, lots of possibilities and great sounds, even organ-type harmonics on the long plate-settings.

You might wanna get an El Capistan Tape Echo along with it ;o)

Have the Hardwire and the Boss Fender 63 - the Hardwire is super versatile - although I use the Boss pedal more than anything.

I would get the Hardwire.

The El Capistan is great. A lot of options too. I think the Brigadier is a very cool delay, different then the Capiston, but very nice.
