For Sale - Organic Custom
« on: October 07, 2010, 11:29:27 AM »
Soooo... I'm selling this guitar now... new arrival in the house and what-not means the herd needs thining.

Here's the original thread about the guitar when I bought it.
Here's dome info about it (apologies for the caps)
"ORGANIC CUSTOM ELECTRIC GUITAR INCLUDING ORIGINAL HARD CASE

AMAZING GUITAR WITH FANTASTIC SPEC PADUAK BACK AND NECK WITH AN AMAZING PIECE OF QUILTED MAPLE FOR THE TOP (THIS GTR WAS USED BY ORGANICS DEMONSTRATOR SO HAS THE BEST TOP THEY COULD FIND AT THE TIME) MACASSAR EBONY FRETBOARD GOTOH DELTA SERIES MACHINEHEADS (AS GOOD AS IT GETS) WITH EBONY BUTTONS CUSTOM WOUND BARE KNUCKLE HUMBUCKERS WITH PUSH/PULL COIL TAP (WITHOUT DOUBT THE BEST SINGLE COIL TONE I'VE EVER HEARD FROM A HUMBUCKING GTR, PUT THE 3 WAY TOGGLE SWITCH IN THE MIDDLE POSITION WITH THE COIL TAP ENGAGED AND THE GTR HAS A GREAT OUT OF PHASE SOUND IE KNOPFLER AND FUNK SOUNDS AT THEIR BEST) GOLD PLATED HARDWARE

Pick marks here and but generally in good condition. I would rather sell outside of the 'bay as it costs a fortune in fees.
Looking for £850.00.
Cheers
(hope I haven't broken any forum rules) :)

Howdy!

Been lurking on the boards for a while.. mainly in search of information about Organic guitars.

I've just bought a secondhand Organic which I'm in love with!! But was hoping maybe some of the other organic experts I've seen on here could shed some light on this guitar.

I've been told it was an ex demonstrator guitar loaded with custom bare knuckle pickups. Are there only one custom BKP for Organics or have they changed over the years?

Share -> post to website -> get link code -> [img] code for boards.

For future reference ;)

I dont know what the custom BKs might be. If you ask Tim, I'm sure he'll be happy to tell you; just email bare knuckle.

Not my thing, but that looks like a very well made guitar, congrats :)

And, welcome!

How comes you only have 10 posts and one of your posts the other day was 'guest', like your account was deleted, steve?

Yeah I deleted my account but I couldn't resist the urge to come back again.

As for the price, absolutely. How's the curve on the back of the guitar? I'd imagine it sits quite well.

Sits really well on a strap.. I play mid to high strap. Feels a lot like my Fly Deluxe but just a while lot more... "organic"! :-)

I can see how well crafted it is but it is not my thing at all. However, you seem to like it so have lots of fun playing it!!
