Les Paul two volume, master tone wiring question.

Hi, i'm having an undersaddle pickup chucked into my les paul which requires its own pot, so i've opted to have just one tone pot. I've found a couple of different ways of wiring it all up just wondered if anyone had any experience with this sort of set up? The two different ways i've found are as follows:

Does anyone know if/how having one or t'other will affect my sound/tone?
