Just tracked down and scanned that thread for your posts; didnt find you mention the aftermath there.

I do recall you asking about it, but I dont remember where or what...

Out of curiosity, has anyone emailed Origin about it?

Nope. Not me anyway.

Its just a word, with a well established dictionary meaning. And besides, the proper name for the pickup is 'the aftermath humbucker'.

They own the track called 'The Aftermath', musically, not the word.

Unless you mean that they may like to use the pickup. In which case I suggest someone get onto paul ryan immediately, because I suspect he'd rather like it.

Yes I meant the latter. Could only be a bonus to have the guys who wrote the track from which it gets it's name playing it. And it's a nice thing to tell someone. Respected brand has new model named after one of your tunes.

I've only dealt through their agent I'm afraid, mate.

Bet they run their own myspace page, though.

Hmmm. Tried posting a message in the hopes that it would allow a guest to do so. It wont, and I dont want to create an account to do it.

Awesome news, glad that I can start officially getting orders in for these! I'm excited to get one in one of my own 7-strings as well.

PS: Origin is amazing. Hour of Penance would probably like this pickup too.

If this is Nick, sorry about the confusion caused back when I first put a clip out. Didnt expect anyone to lose sales off it.

Yes origin are amazing.

Never heard of Hour of Penance. Listening to their myspace now. $%&#ing love it.

Yes this is Nick. It's all good man!  And YES, Hour Of Penance is easily the most brutal band to ever exist. Their album Paradogma is ridiculous :)

Cool.

Ordered paradogma after 2 of the myspace tracks without hesitation and with a big silly grin. Been ages since I got some new music I really liked.

Nicely done man, I'm glad I could enlighten you to the triumph that is Hour of Penance! Apart from Nile and Behemoth they're my favorite death metal bands by far. Also recommended: Fleshgod Apocalypse (you're welcome in advance! ;)).

The drummer for Hour of Penance and Fleshgod Apocalypse are the same guy, so I figured you may like both. I love the album by FA entitled 'Oracles'. Their 'Mafia' EP is cool also. If you're an AT THE GATES fan, they have an insanely brutal cover of "Blinded By Fear" on the EP.

Thanks, I'll check out Oracles.

Not really, no. Never got into the gothenberg thing.
