Which is more clinical?? a-WP or AM??

Which is better suited for Metallica/Megadeth/Ozzy?? a-WP or AM?? ... or is there something better out there for that type of stuff??

miracle man

I've seen a few people in some forums making excuses to try the new model instead of choosing the best fit for their styles and guitars (not saying you're one of them)
that's a mistake, just like the painkiller trend that was happening earlier this year

Neck and bridge I take it...? Not so sure the CS neck would be my thing, but that's what everyone seems to pair with the MM bridge.

what's the guitar? the amp is relevant too

the cs neck tends to work well for everything in every guitar
that's why it's so popular

Guitar is a Suhr Modern w/ basswood body, maple top, maple neck, and rosewood board. Amp is a Splawn Quick Rod. I want to metalize the guitar, but still have an asshair of versatility with the coil splits should I ever want to use them. I'm not tooooooo thrilled with the Suhr Aldrich pups in the guitar right this second.

I guess the calibrated MM set would work pretty well

here's a clip recorded by a forumite with a basswood/maple neck/rosewood board guitar loaded with miracle man (bridge) through a splawn quickrod

I know that there's a million variables going on when listening to a recording, but lets say I wanted something with more output than the Miracle Man?? What's the most logical step up from there?? That clip didn't really have the sound I'm looking to get out of this guitar. I'm looking for something that exceeds the output of my Suhr Aldrich's. Something more metalz.

MORE output than the miracle man?

Well the answer is ceramic warpig, BUT I must ask the question, what the hell kind of pussy amp are you using if the miracle man isn't giving enough output!??! The Miracle Man is HOT and BRUTAL. :)

don't know... you play in really low keys, so your judgement is a bit biased. i recently tuned my MM loaded guitar in B and NOW it's finally a dangerous beast, but in E it lacked all the heaviness and aggression that i usually get with my pigs. and mind that i'm using an ENGL fireball, that sounds quite heavy for itself! :)
it's true that warpigs sound dowtuned even in standard E!
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

I play a Splawn Quick Rod. It's not a brutalzzzzz amp by definition, but it has the right amount of gain that I'm looking for. I just want this guitar to be all about teh metalz. That clip didn't sound like what I was looking for, and it's scary because I play that same amp.

that's up to your hands and ears
I guess your amp still has knobs  :D
or maybe you should look for another amp instead of pickups
that clip is pretty much what I'd expect from a quickrod in most situations
maybe a custom audio OD100 would fit your expectations better (it's quite expensive, though)
it's bigger and more modern sounding than a quickrod

Great amp from what I've heard, but I just want to push the front end of my amp harder. Maybe the Miracle Man's would be a lot better than the Suhr Aldrich's. I don't know for sure, but I want to be safe.

I have yet to email Tim. I will get there.

I have a Keeley TS9 that I use here and there, but I'm trying to find the optimal rhythm tone with this guitar, while using the TS9 for leads and as a boost here and there.

I use Eminence Governor / Manowar speakers in a 2x12.
