I did a search on this and know that this has been discussed to some lenght before but I still thought I'd ask opinions from guys that use HSS pickup configurations and have experience with the pickups mentioned below.
So I'm going to put a Holy Diver and two Trilogy Suites into my Strat soon and was wondering what value pots I should use with them. 500k volume and tone is standard for humbuckers but I don't want the singles to sound too bright. The Trilogy Suites are probably quite different from "regular" lower output single-coils but do you feel they would work well with 500k pots? How about if I'd experiment with a 500k volume and 250k tone & a higher value cap? Or would the best option be to go for 500k volume and tone pots but wire in some 470 kOhm resistors to make the pots effectively work at 250k with the Trilogies?
