Recommend me a fuzz

I've never been too fond of fuzz pedals, but lately the sound is beginning to grow on me. I'm without any knowledge about fuzz pedals so what would you recommend me?

I'm not looking for an overly extreme fuzz sound, but if there's a pedal that can do mild to extreme fuzz it will definitely catch my interest. Right now I'm just scouting the marked so any recommendation is greatly appriciated no matter pricetag.

You'll have a bit of a wait for it, but it will be worth it and you'll not lose much money - if any - should you come to sell it.

Depends what kind of fuzz you're after. As pedals go, there are more fuzzes than anything else. Most are either muff or fuzz face based, but the sheer variety of them is bonkers. If you can give me some examples of what you're after, I can probably steer you in something like the right direction as I've got loads of the things.

Also if you look in seconds out, there's a tonebender clone for sale made by someone who obviously oozes awesomness onto  the pedals he makes... ;)

Big John Hairy Balls, Death by Audio makes a lot of fuzzpedals, Dunlop Fuzz Face, Electro Harmonix Big Muff, Fulltone, Homebrew, Malekko, MI Audio, MJM, MXR, Throbak, Voodoolab, Zvex (Fuzzfactory/Fuzzprobe). They all make several fuzzpedals. First think about whether you're more into germanium or silicon transistors.

Right! Not every fuzzpedal works nice with other pedals or your amp. Try them in a shop.

Generally speaking, if you put them before buffered pedals in the chain you're ok. But yup, they can be a bit finicky at times.
