I wouldn't go as Fernando, but it's not really for me neither

But I can see how it could be very desirable for someone else.

Incidentally, I don't actually think that bridge looks too bad (and I usually loathe "super-trems"). It looks nice and functional and fits with the rest of the geetar :D

It's a cool-looking guitar, but superstrats just ain't my thing!

I certainly prefer the Kahler to the Floyd, feel-wise, but it did seem to kill the sustain a bit on my Hamer.  I see they've sunk it into the body, which is a good idea to get a steeper string angle over the saddles.

I'm still 50/50 on whether I like it in the black or Ivory finish, decisions decisions.

The G&L range in general looks really nice - like the Legacy alot.

the black one was what I first thought was the better one, now I'm slowly thinking the exact opposite.

the stock pickup would likely go too - something like a Cold Sweat would rule in that.

HD maybe?  For a fuller sound, given the bolt-on neck and Kahler?

The Abraxas sounds nice and chunky too, worthy of consideration.

I'm starting to like quite a percussive tone these days - its the Tele's fault.  You can always roll the tone back a bit to fatten things up.

I've got a load of things for sale at the minute trying to raise money for this (see seconds out).

Not a sharp looker, but ok. I like classic G&L's better. Matter of taste.

I don't like the Kahler, for the rest, I love the black one.

To me it's £200 too expensive for what it is, what am I missing?  :|

I don't really follow G&L guitars and I know it's their Far Eastern "budget" range, but it's regarded as a high-quality budget range isn't it?  £560 doesn't seem a lot.

It's essentially an indonesian built Cort with a very low spec. £550 on a korean made Cort would get you way more guitar. Indeed, look at what £550 will get you elsewhere and it doesn't seem so great (or indeed, as per my original post, look what £360 will get you)
