Get good reviews, and are made in the UK, which means they must be good right?!

I can't help with your breakage problem but I can recommend a brand of string I've been using for the past year that just last forever... 'Dr Duck'.

I've never seen them in any UK shops but they're cheap enough on ebay direct from the good Dr.  I use 11s and they sound great, better than the D-Addarios I'd be using for the previous 15 years (except a small spell of using Snarling Dogs)

I used to use a variety of strings, and used to go thru them like a karate man out for revenge. Think I'm a bit heavy handed...  anyway

Started using Rotosound Reds (Gauge 11s) and I maintain they are the best I have tried - last a load longer than D'addarrio, Ernie Balls etc

If you're going to try a few brands and see what suits, it's definately worth giving Rotosound a go.

I normally use Ernie Ball Super Slinkys (9's) and I never break strings and I hammer the $%&# out of them too!

Tom have you got some really odd tecnique that you're not telling us about where yu pick up the guitar by the D string and shake it? or similar. I really can't think what the problem is unless you are doing something odd with it. yu say that it unravells yes?

Hahaha indy no I dont have an odd technique. It unravels though so I guess its not really string snappage. I tried rotosounds and they didnt last long atall. Anyway this picato string is lasting longer than the GHS strings did  :D

Your probably best off taking it to a local tech to get looked at, its probably something wrong with the set up or something. Its hard for any one to say with out having it in front of them.
