I've been wanting to outfit a 4x12 with Scumbacks for a long time. Cost-prohibitive, tho.

I've been wanting to outfit a 4x12 with Scumbacks for a long time. Cost-prohibitive, tho.

I just checked the GC site, it says 149$ for a Vintage30. Then I'd rather add 20 bucks and get me some M75s. However the issue in Europe is shipping and tax. There is no importer who would get them over by the container yet.

I think all his demos are excellent (Riot pedal, Suhr amp etc) - well recorded and show the characteristics of whatever he is demoing.

I still can't play it 100% properly (to be honest I'm not certain his lesson is 100% either, a couple of bits seem slightly easier than the real thing), but his lessons got me way closer than I ever got before.

He's cool in my book for those lessons, if nothing else. Kickass player. :D

EDIT: yeah cost is the problem with scumbacks... never tried them, but they're meant to be great. But factor in postage, VAT and customs to the UK etc. and o_O
