Any medium to hot bridge humbuckers that give a convincing sweet, throaty single coil tone when split? I'm talking alone, not in combination with a neck humbucker split. For reference, my favorite split humbucker single coil tones were from a Duncan 59 in the neck of a Jackson 7-string, and a Rio Grande Muy Grande in the bridge of a Warmoth I just put together. (The Rio Grande is actually 2 bonafide single coils side-by-side. But the low-B gets stuck on the oversized magnetic pole pieces when I dive, so I'm looking at alternatives.)
I play metal, but I'm more picky when it comes to warm, sweet, funky single coil tone.
