Vox Guitars

Any Love for these?

http://www.voxamps.com/us/guitars/series55/

Didn't really think too much of tthem at first but getting a bit of GAS for the SCC-55.  They look fairly classic but a bit different.

Perhaps I'm coming down with something.....

I don't like the look of them personally, and I can't put my finger on what it is I don't like...

I know what you mean, that's what I've always thought until just recently.

I was looking at this and thinking well I really need a Les Paul...

But then thought shouldn't I be more Imaginitive.  I like Duesenburg 49ers but they are too expensive so I was led to the vox for something Les Paulish but different.

Then I woke up this morning and realised my £900 budget was imaginary anyway....

They're getting good reviews, but they don't really appeal.  I think it's mostly the looks, plus the controls look fiddly.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

The double cut doesn't grab me at all, but I the single is vaguely appealing...

Not enough to experience any rumblings though!

Looks so so. Pickups presented as the best of all worlds. Don't know if this versality comes with good tones. Not really cheapo's.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

i love the vox virage stuff especially the 3-d body shaping

i see the cheaper ranges are also doing it, they look really cheap on the vox website but other photos show them in a much better light
