Recommend a single coil for my Caparison?
« on: December 15, 2010, 07:58:39 PM »
Looking into Sinners and Trilogy Suites now... should I go for bridge/neck/middle pickup? I'd like some fatter lead tones and more characteristics, the Dimarzio Chopper there is kinda lifeless JMO. I had a Air Norton S there before and it lacked crunch.

Guitar specs: Body's mahogany, scale 24.75", maple neck and rosewood fretboard.

Thanks in advance :)

What's the bridge pickup? I assume you want something that will balance in output.

Yeah, forgot about that. It's an A5 Warpig.

Maybe a Trilogy-bridge for the neck. Some on the forum have good results with it.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

I think a Sinner neck would be best.

Cool thanks fellas! After reading more on the matter I go with Sinner neck (with baseplate?) like Nolly suggested.
Unfortunately I've found no clips... maybe I'll record something later :)
