what kind of chug chug metal?

I have a cold sweat and it kicks tons of ass, though not super brutal. But it does great for like Exodus, Death, Pantera, Anthrax etc. Its somewhat natural sounding so it lets the wood tone really jump out. Its a transparent and tight sounding pup but in a good way that lets the guitars individual character shine. I don't know how well I'm describing it, but for me it sounds very natural without sacrificing sustain, character or tightness. And it holds clarity very very very well, you can strum a chord on heavy distortion and usually you can hear all the notes, a really great and unique pickup. If I had that guitar I'd go cold sweat set. But it really depends what kind of tones you're after., you might be looking for something more aggressive sounding.

Oh and the Cold Sweat neck seems to be really really great for fluid metal leads, I havent tried one but the clips are great and alot of metal players around here tend to stick it in the neck position.

That axe is incredible looking by the way. Ive been wanting a USA Dean ML forever now haha- I bet it plays really nice

i want soemthing that screams in both postions that will clean up and is sharp as a pin , but the pin tip is rounded not pointy if you know what i mean

guitar rips and is about 10 freaken pounds...this one was a custom made with heavy mahogany not that light weight shite

The Cold Sweat is certainly very good and will give you a classic Gibson Les Paul type sound. Power is similar to the Super Distortion but I'd say it has a richer tone to it. If you like a really tight bass response and pinched harmonics you should look at a Miracle Man for the bridge. It's superb in mahogany guitars and to me it seems ideal for what you're after. Tim has a couple of really good clips of it in the players area; one being the song 'Miracle Man' itself. The other one you might consider is a ceramic Nailbomb.
