That's a hard question.
In my guitar (koa body/neck, ebony fingerboard) and with my ENGL Thunder it sounds like this (with bass, mid, treble at noon):

Bass: 5
Lo Mid: 7
Hi Mid: 5
Treble: 6

Agressive, precise, big headroom, very quick attack, very big, full sounding.

When putting the EQ charts for the new site together, Tim and I independently agreed/came up with B/M/T = 5/7/7.

What is Tim and your eq chart for the painkiller, MDV?

Can you compare the Aftermath to the Painkiller for me?

is it more organic, open sounding than the c-bomb? How does the lead tone compare to other ceramics?

I had a Painkiller before the Aftermath.
Painkiller has a lot of hi mid. Brutal sounding, but it was a little boxy for my taste and I wanted more lo mid and brighter , open sound.
The AM do it perfectly, more lo mid, less hi mid, but enough, more open, bright, bigger becouse of the fatter lo mid, very tight, articulate.

It worth so much to change the PK to AM for my taste.
