Heres an example of what the etched covers look like. We can do this on Black, Nickel, Chrome or Gold covers.

Those = COOL!

If I ever get a Flying V, I'm fitting it with BKP's and then getting them etched like that!

Andy!

Looks cool but I'd be in favour of something slightly more tastefull - just the 'BKP' initials would be more my style.

You know I could see a set of them sitting in the silver with black hardwear Ibanez thinline jazzbox I've been tempted to buy a couple of times. 8) I could easily afford it at the end of May if I do some overtime...

You know this forum's a bad influence on me. :lol:

I wonder if single coils could have metal covers on, like Lace Sensors.

I've been thinking :lol:

My mom's got a 70's Yamaha SG-400, it needs a refret and then she wants to sell it. I'm gonna try to pursuade her not to sell it. The things been in the family for over 20 years, I learned to play on it. If i succeed (or should I say when), I'm gonna put a couple BKP Mules in there with the black etched covers; the boxer on the neck pickup and 'Bare Knuckle Pickups' on the bridge pickup. That would be COOL!

Yes! I've done it! I've convinced me mum! The SG stays in the family :D
Took it to Heins Guitars in Sneek for a refret today, should be ready within two weeks. I hope to get paid this week so I can order those pickups I spoke of earlier: Black covered Mules with 'Bare Knuckle Pickups' etched on the bridge pickup and the boxer logo on the neck pickup. I'm also gonna put a set of gold Grover Super Rotomatics on it, with the imperial knobs. Guess the rewind of my Revtrons will have to wait a while.

It's gonna be a stunning guitar, I'll post some pics when it's finished.
