Do I smell a BKP weight loss thread coming along?
I only do little resolutions, mine is:
Put paperwork in files, not on the floor.

with the general aim of not getting kicked out of uni.
Feline Custom, Fender MIJ mustang bass
Orange rocker 30
VHII and Mississippi queen

I'll try again. I managed to post this in totally the wrong thread last time.
Oh well... Let's see...
Stop ruddy procrastinating.
Seriously, I just need to dig out the remote control for the DVD player and get down to the last part of the solo on Money. (Yes, I knew it once. But I've forgotten it) Ditto for Stairway to Heaven - I've got to the bit before the solo, and stopped. (It's on a DVD.)
And after that... actually learn something new. I've really let myself go quite a lot.

Only 2 really:

1. Spend more time doing things and less time thinking about them.
2. Grow a beard, so I can stroke it while thinking about things. :P

wimps! I'm starting at 18 stone plus

Ah, but how tall are you?  I'm usually 12.5 stone but I'm only 5'6" so I still look pretty porky.

I've had a bit of a head start, because I've been ill all Christmas so I've eaten a lot less than normal, just about managed most of the main meals but no "snacks" at all and very little alcohol.

Don't want to go to the gym straight away though, because it will be full of fat delusional New Year Resolutioners (....exactly like me  :| ).

someone help me out here cause this must be a british thing, what is the stone we speak of?

I weigh 18.5 stones and my resolution is actually put on more weight. I am actually in the process of training for several power lifting competitions, so I am in a little bit of a different situation than most. Also, I am ready to finish my studies. I am in classes 13 hrs a day this upcoming term.
All I want to be is normally insane.

My main 2 resolutions are to practice more and to get in a band and get gigging.

Both are actually easier said than done due to work etc  :?

- Praying , so my girl gets a job around here and I'm not forced to quit the one I just applied for and was accepted (after several attempts, enough refusal and pretty akward meetings)

- Stop buying and selling gear

- Buy more guitars to get more BKPickups (I know this might not come along with the above resolution)

- Move into a flat or go for building our own house if my Gfriend get a good job.

Maybe it's my age, but there seems something a little sad about giving up drinking and smoking BEFORE you go to University... :(

Sort of, I'm down to 15.5 stone after being stuck at just under 16 for ages. Also got the wheels in motion for my Canadian visa :)

Secured funding.  Nothing set in stone, just a verbal providing the numbers add up.

Not much further on with the business plan though :(
