Sampled some clips now.

Oh dear, GAS... need more strats

No Jazz bass clips though? :(

Nolly, about the strat clips - were the middle pickups RWRP or not?

Anyway - SUPERB job, everyone involved, love the new site :D

I'm pleased that you're all liking the new site - it's been a huge amount of work to get done.

Adam/Nolly did indeed write and play on every single clip which we recorded consecutively over 6 days - Adam playing and writing and myself making the pickups and fitting them as we went along. We used a Les Paul Custom for the majority of the humbucker clips - a Daemoness and a Black Machine were used on a couple - all the Teles were recorded on the same relic Tele, Strats on the same Relic Strat , HSP90s on the same SG and P90s on a self built Jnr(made by Ray here at BKP). All bass parts were recorded with a Fender J bass with the '60 PE J Bass coils in.
There are more additions to come to the site over the next few months in the way of resources.

Again, a huge thank you to Adam for the seriously awesome playing and  extremely varied audio clips - designed as a comparative study of the whole range - and also to Ol for all the behind the scenes work getting the site to do what I wanted it to!

Make sure you have a good dig through the whole site, there's lots of information to be had and plenty to listen to!

All the Strat clips were RWRP except for the PAT Pend Strat Series where the mid coils were stock.
Every track has '60 PE J bass on but we are sorting out dedicated bass clips too.

I love it!. I was very nearly late for work this morning as I'd started listening to the samples and was enjoying myself a great deal. The information available now is superb and with the expanded range, well the best just got better is all that can be said. Nolly, you have done a great job in recording those clips and your knowledge of the pickups is fantastic. Congrats too to Tim and the guys for a superb job. I shall be buying a P90 for a mate shortly and the job just got a bit harder but in a good way.

yeah a couple of the wiring diagrams I clicked on didn't work- not a complaint, just pointing it out in case ol hasn't noticed.

Aside from that, it's great. :)

Hmm. I have a feeling I should ring up and cancel my credit cards before delving much deeper into this...

Thanks for letting me know about the dead links. With 148 clips, dimensions and schematics and so much to do I'm not overly surprised a couple slipped through.

The forum will be done in the next couple of days!

No problem i know how frustrating it is managing websites and its always inevitable that you'll get a missing link somewhere.

And i was only joking about the forum but i look forward to seeing that too.

They should be fixed now. If anyone discovers anymore, I'd be grateful if you could report here:

and select "Website Issues / Feedback"

I'm impressed, I haven't had a chance to listen to any clips yet but already I feel like a few "ancient mysteries" have been solved by the new product pages.  :D

Very interested in the new P-90s....
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

I liked the site a lot.
The clips arent 100% ideal cause they are still slightly overproduced or something like that but.. i liked it.
all the rest is awesome.
Althought i think that the ABraxas need a more elucidative description or even soundclip.

from now on... im starting to dig the tone of the MULE. Riff Raff. STormy MOnday. VHII,Rebel Yell(i liked the tone a lot but i think its not for me),COld sweat as always. ahahaha, Nailbomb of course.. even more the neck version. but im also tempted to get the cold sweat neck cause of the sweep thing. im not sure if ill keep the nailbomb bridge anymore. i liked the Holydiver alittle also. And the ceramic warpig sounds interesting also.

From the single coils : i liked the apache a lot.the pat pend slab 59 strat board is also good but i would like to hear it in the bridge and neck position MORE. The SLow Hand set is also good.
Thats it

I WANT To test them all.

Compliments! A big improvement. More clear information and the soundclips are very nice. I only think that the clean clips in the humbucker-section do not always justice to the pickup. A lot of them sound somewhat the same. The dirty clips are most of the times very good.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

What an improvement!

Thanks, I suppose, to those that thanked 'all involved' on account of the EQ charts (but that said, there are lots there that I had nothing to do with, as there was no data from the fellow users, or massively insufficient; how did you come up with those, Tim?

All that replied with your estimates to the EQ thread; you made that as well!

Well done Nolly on the clips. Very good, and impressively consistent playing. I know its not easy to churn that out, and 6 days for it is impressive work.
