In the same way that people wear Football shirts? T-shirts anouncing their favourite alcoholic beverage?....They to are wearing it and not receiving endorsment money.... Would they be classed as a "F*ck Wit"?
Well not to labour the point but...
The Teams receive sponsorship money for two good branding reasons 1) Direct TV exposure 2) Indirect exposure via Replica Kit Sales.
Your example falls into the latter category.
As a supporter wearing a replica of a team kit you
do benefit from the money that "your" club has received.
Hypothetically and by way of example... if a die hard Arsenal fan decides to purchase and wear the replica kit of Man United.... They could, even by this narrow definition, legitimately be considered a "f*ck wit"
Now if they
also choose to wear a KFC bucket and William Shatner mask to the Emirates stadium... well that would surely seal the deal.
QED - The wearing of a KFC bucket and Shatner mask can be reasonably assumed to result in any person being considered a "F*ck wit" especially in cases where no form of financial inducement (direct or indirect) can be identified.
