Hi all,

First of all i'm preparing to wire up my calibrated Aftermaths set into my PRS Dave Navarro Custom 24. After looking through the detailed schematics for BKP and not so detailed PRS ones, I have come up with a diagram which I would like to share with you all to see if its the right way to install them, there is no BKP schematic for the configuration of the Custom 24. I want to plan a quick and painless approach to install the BKPs without unsoldering everything and putting it back together lol.

My PRS comes with VB + HFS stock installed, and when i opened the rear cavity up, i was surprised how many wires were soldered up (used to deal with installing EMGs, pretty simple i might add). Grounding is pretty much the same between PRS/BKP diagrams so I'm not worried.

2 questions i would like to pick your brains with tho

1) Green/white wire in  to support my push pull coil tap pot. In the PRS its wired with whites on top and reds at the bottom (VB HFS). I was wondering if it could cause problems if i wired it white on top and greens at bottom (BKP) or vice versa. What are the functions of the green/whites towards the polarity of the pickup current?

2) The Neck Pickup Hot cable wired to my tone pot and looped to my Neck pickup Hot on the toggle. Is this the right way? The BKP diagrams state that the Red wires are soldered directly to the toggle (switch)

I hope this will clear up a lot of confusion (including mine) or perhaps BKP can introduce a PRS replacement guide on their website :D

When I put my miracle man set in my Custom 22 I just followed the standard push-pull diagram from BKP.

PRS did a weird wiring job because the neck pickup's magnet is flipped for when they use the 5-way switch so to stop the neck pickup from being out of phase they wire it like they do.

As long as you just bought a standard calibrated set and didn't ask for the necks magnet to be flipped the standard bkp push pull pot diagram 'should' work for you.
