« on: January 08, 2011, 08:04:34 PM »
Hi guys! I put a set of yardbird in my tele. Which height should I set the bridge and the neck?
Thanks in advance

Not too close, but experiment. I have my telepu's relatively low, cause they're balanced best that way, I think. Doesn't mean this have to be the best for your guitar. Just find the sweet spot going from high to low, everytime a tad.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

Thanks for the tip! The problem is that's my first time adjusting pickup height, and don't really know how to start.
I've always had a luthier setting my guitar so I'm "naive".

An hour ago I picked my tele and found out one of bridge pickup screw was almost falling and was totally unscrewed. The bridge pickup was way too low from how I remember it was yesterday! So I'm trying to adjust it!

Try 3/32 treble side and 1/8 bass on both pickups as a starting point.
