Hell yeah Brow Bro!!! sounds like everything ran smoothly! nerve-racking? Should have some nice tone's recorded there. also - WHY is there so many knobs on that thing (dunno what it is - a mixer? LOL. sorry...) what can they possibly all do? I'm eager to hear the fruits of your labour!
Nah, I don't find it nerve-racking at all :) I work in the studio myself, so I know what to do and what to expect :)
We were having some problems on the 1st day with my amps, but it turns out that it's bad power in the amp booth. So for recording my parts I moved the amp out into the drum room and had no problems.
The desk does look quite 'scary', but think of it this way, it's just 1 lot of controls thats copied a further 39 times. So if you learn 1 strip of controls, you've learnt all 40 of them :)
The red faders are used to control the mix you hear when you listen back to the recording to check for errors or when overdubbing parts etc

you gotta make the most of it coz in my experience it doesnt come cheap.

I've bought 2 of the amps in myself, and the MESA and other Marshall belong to my friends at the studio. As does the Mesa 4x12 cab.
Because I work at the studio, I get all my recording time free of charge. So I might as well take my time and get it done to the best of my ability :)
That must have been fun. Recording in a studio with a band is great- especially if you can play as a band to get the backing track down with someone else having the "twiddle the knobs".A good array of amps to play with too. Looks like a bit of snow on the trees there.
I'm recording and engineering the session myself, so I recorded the singer/guitarist and drummer 1st and then I played my parts over the top.
It's been snowing for the last 4 days or so, and it appears to have no sign of ending either :(
