I dont't know how long you have already played this new equip?
I'd recommend you, first to get to know the new amp&guitar. Meaning, just play it, learn how it reacts, how the EQ-shelf is working, anf get used to it.
THEN, after you have some experience with the new equip (as your new guitar is also new), then it's time to think about a pu-swap.
The reason I am saying this is, that in order to archieve a really custom-tailored tone, something that really suits you, all the parts have to match very well. So if you get it "wrong" now and buy a nailbomb, for example, because your first impression of the combination VH4&your new guitar is "Dry and lacking this special smack and organic taste" you might find you tricked yourself, because you just didn't know how to get this organic feel out of your amp.
just an illustration:
I have an Earforce Two, and if I compare the setting I used at the beginning and these I am using now (5months later, still same music and equip) ... the difference is huge, and the amp sounds differently, even better than before. where it was maybe little bit "thin" in the high-mids it's now crushing, where it had a bit too sharp highs they are now rather sweet ...
If i was to buy some new guitar and pu's now, I'd definitively buy something different, than at the beginning. Because I learned how to use my guitar and my amp to work together, I can judge what I really need better.
