MQ neck lead clip
« on: January 14, 2011, 08:35:13 PM »
Very sloppy and uninspired playing-wise, but I'm pleased with the tone :D P90s in an SG are a great match, it seems like a strat but with the rubbish bits ironed out and much more rock!

Great sound thats how IMO a neck pup should sound, and I'm not usually a fan of AIV! well done.

Nice sound, Tom. Real P90 in a mahagony guitar. It's has hints of the hollow strattiness, but not the woodiness of neckcoil of a strat, which in my opinion a different tone, but I understand the comparison.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

Sounds kinda Gilmourish - not that I'm a great Gilmour fan, but this has some of the qualities I like in his tone.

While we're at it  - IIRC you have experience with both the riffraff and MQ in this SG ? If yes, how do you think they would pair (RR bridge / MQ neck) ?
