Aftermath + Miracle Man - Sad but true test with new cab

Just a quick test with daves peavey 2x12  with v30s

the first part is the aftermath in the RGD
the second is the miracle man in the RGA

the odd thing is now that its mixed down i cant really tell the difference where in the room the guitars sound completely different :S

Still you can feel that Miracle Man is fatter, and the Aftermath more tight. But they are very close. Do the same thing with a c-bomb.

MDV is your best bet for that one.

Shhhh

No hes not.

One of my tracks, memento mori, has a c-bomb left, aftermath right. Thats the best youre gonna get. Its in the sticky.

P.S. "Now do the same with a C-Bomb" :lol::lol:

Yes master! At once!

I know that track for a long time, and it sold me for an Aftermath before the release of it. But, now, with clips for every pickup on the site, I tend to go with the C-bomb. It sounds some how juicyer, and I like the (flatter?) sound that it has on chords. Of course, for high notes single string picking I would go with the Painkiller which sounds rounder, or alnico Nailbomb for a beautiful warmer sound. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I think I need more guitars.

Not the very old one thats kicking round here somewhere that I hope no one ever hears again. The intermediate one was passable, the remix of it was better (but has more ITB treatment of the guitars, even if still not a lot).

I havent re-re-re-done it yet.

fwiw I'm gravitating more to the C-Bomb out of the two again, but more for the larger amount of top end it has, while still being very tight in the right guitar.
