Baja wiring

I'm seriously considering converting my Baja to a 3 way switch. Too many options for me currently. Am I mad?
I think I hate being indecisive.

Yes - the 4th (top) position is a great meaty sound - and the press down Peter Green like tone is killer.

Why change it?  Why not use positions 1-3 without pressing down the S1?

Not the same but I'm thinking of changing my 4-way to a 3-way.

Just going to throw this one out there, i'm thinking of changing my 3 way to a 4 way after trying out a Baja!

I though about switching to a 3-way when I put Country Boys into my Baja but decided against it. I'm into traditional sounds so don't use the 'other' settings much, though admit that the 'in series' and 'parallel/out-of-phase' are both useful sounds. Ideally I'd have a 3-ways switch with those 2 settings (I could do without the series/out-of-phase sound) as push/pull on the pots.

I think I'll keep it as is for the time being. Might be best for me to do the tele build (that I started ages ago) as a 3 way. I am however thinking of doing that as either an esquire or a tele with neck HB. Too many decisions to make!

I'm sure there's some pretty useful sounds with the S1 switching and I would keep it.
I would do as you say Ian and save the 3 way for a future build.  I only ever use 3 of the 4 sounds on mine and although the 4th does no harm I do like the clunk of a 3 way switch.
