I guess itīs time to a Appreciation/Show Up Thread of ny new gear.
check it out
5150 head, marshall 1960 4x12 cabinet.
I DIDNīT test it yet, ahahahahah iīm still reading the Owners Book.
but my main problem is to find a ****ign speaker cable here in brazil..
ahahah for you to see how precarious is the Acquisition of Quality gear .

Cool stuff!

Wise of you to read the manual first. I always do it the other way around; test it, play it, see what everything does and then read the manual.

Nice set up there. I've always wanted to play through a 5150 but i guess they're hard to come by over here in the UK.

be sure that you do use speaker cable and not a guitar lead - don't go crazy on Monster Cable or anything, just average quality speaker wire thats thicker than that bell-wire cr@p that Marshall insist on using.

I can only imagine the threads we're going to have when you decide to upgrade the valves in the amp  :wink:  :lol:

the el34 looks Growler than the stock Ones BUT.. i really didnīt play this amp yet so... i canīt say what iīm saying right now to you.. without a propper test/playing.

I just replied in another thread, but will put it here as well. My main speaker cable is a heavy duty Pete Cornish cable (its a David Gilmour thing). When I use my attenuator I use a planet waves speaker cable as well.
