Can anyone recommend a good 3 guitar stand, anyone I look at says it's not suitable for a nitro laquer finish which includes all 3 of my guitars  :x

I use these:

Nitro seems fine with them, but I've now put an old sock on each touch point just to be sure!

Yep, I agree with Twinfan. Hercules stands are great. He suggested it to me and I bought one and would recommend them. They also make great mic stands.

Another vote for Hercules... best stands I've found so far... (and got 4 of the single ones)

Just to underline the value of Hercules stands, even though this is an old topic, I have had a nitrocellulose finish Gibson SG sitting on a Hercules 414B since April with no ill effects.  The guitar only goes into its case for travel in the back of my station wagon once a week.

It is also the only stand style that works with odd shapes like my Explorer.  Now that I have fitted Warpigs to my Explorer and thus playing it a lot more, I have just bought a second 414B via ebay for $35 delivered, as the other one (which I got in 2008) has been perfect for it and I want all my guitars to be on hand.

For my acoustic dreadnaught I have a regular floor stand that works quite well, I can't remember the name of it but I wouldn't trust it with nitro

EDIT: The second GS414B just arrived, so now my Explorer can have its old stand back and the SG is placed on the new one.  The acoustic is on one of those generic stands you get from the local shop.
