Pickup for custom baritone telecaster.
« on: March 02, 2011, 06:33:29 PM »
Hey dudes. Im considering to buy myself a warmoth tele along with one of my friends.
The Specs on mine is:
27" scale Maple neck with maple fretboard
Swamp ash body
Solid bridge
one pickup, one volume
tuning; B, Drop Bb, Drop A
Music style; tech death, grindcore.

As far as pickups i have in mind;
Piledriver
"custom" dual piledriver
Aftermath
Painkiller

I LOVE the piledriver's tone on the clips i've heard. The thing is if it would be able to bring enough drive in this guitar, without it mimicing a bass.

The dual piledriver is one of my weird ideas which involves getting two piledrivers being made into a humbucker :)

Tone inspiration;

To be fair, I think he may have caught it from me, or at least my Tele GAS caused a resurgence in his dormant case.

But apart from that, yes, the man is certifiably insane. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
