Stock Pot Quality (Ibanez)

I was wondering if stock pots on guitars can be low quality, especially on medium to high range Ibanezs.

I've always found Ibanez guitars to come with pretty decent Alpha pots.

They aren't the best but they are far from being rubbish

Better?

Stock Ibanez are ok

I'll change them if upgrading pickups etc as spending £10 on pots is nothing if spending £200 on pickups

Ive found in the Ibanez that i have upgraded that CTS pots work very well but i did have to widen the hole a bit as the shaft is just a smidge wider than the other equivalents.

To be honest though i can never tell the difference between pots etc and only changed it out as the guitar originally had actives in so had a 25k pot so i had no choice but to get a 500k CTS which i got on ebay for £3!
