Thanks! I believe it wouldn't be possible to wind 42AWG plain enamel up to 11 or 12kΩ, IIRC there simply wouldn't be enough room on the bobbin. If you were to move to a thinner wire it would change the tonal characteristics significantly and besides, if you were to do this I think the with the Mule's AIV magnet, the low end response would be significantly looser.
If you want a traditional PAF voicing but with more meat and output, try the Black Dog :)
