Still I am looking at the prices of Soldanos, Friedmans etc over there and have a tear in my eye 

Anytime I look at a Diezel price tag, no matter Europe or the US, I get a tear in my eye

The wah reminds me of an old Electro-Harmonix i had in the seventies !It was very useful in those days, since my amps were mostly clean (esp. with a Strat)..Would like to get it back ... :(

   Wow  :o! I had no idea...I'm not sure if mine was exactly the same though..I did like most of the early EH from the 70's.At the time,they were very cheap but not always very sturdy & you couldn't repair them because they were painting the components inside.Still,they sounded amazing and EH was very innovative & creative.I purchased some of the same pedals i used to have back then (reissues)but was very disappointed...not the same sound at all.
