Pig 90 and a bit of MQ, pop-rock track
« on: March 16, 2011, 06:01:56 PM »
Inspiration is running very low recently so although it's quite a generic track (again!) I'm fairly pleased with it, I've had the riffs stuck in my head all day. I think the Pig 90 may have been badly soldered first time, or it just loves Eb, but its started sounding rather monstrous the past few days!

None of the settings were changed for anything, just the volume rolled down for the slightly cleaner sounds. The pickups are in an SG, into a Laney GH50L :) MQ was just used for the solo, the rest is Pig 90.

Nope :( I write all my stuff so it could be sung over, but I don't know any singers and really can't do it myself!

That Laney sounds great as always. Also great voicing for stacking several guitar layers.

Love the heavy bit in the middle.

Put some P!nk on it and you got a Hit!

Kick ass song ;). indeed that needs some vocals specially on that heavy pig middle riff. Dunno why you would let such a pickup go, it sounds pretty good for its output. You just sold me one, I neeed it.

Yeah I think I'll be keeping it now, I think my original solder join must've been cr@p as it seems to sound great now!
