Swan ash?! I wonder if it has a whale tusk truss rod?

to me, that guitar doesn't look as bad as the other, but something doesn't make me feel 100% comfortable that it is 'correct' for want of a better word.

after my comment about the tusk i now have an image of guitar shops being like olivanders wand shop from the harry potter novels.

red top with salmon back and sides? weird colour ways.
got a brass block on the floyd and a dual concentric pot. Isn't the nut usually the width of the neck and then the headstock comes out behind that so the locking nuts sides are flush with the neck... if that makes sense?

You can get a bit of wood "flaring" out at the side like that if it's a regular Strat neck modified for a Floyd nut (not usually that much though!).

To be fair the "Charvel" looks like it's made of decent quality parts, but why the hell is he claiming it's a Charvel and the other a Kramer when they're so obviously not?  Why the hell would buy these?  :?
