Hey boys. have anyone of you heard or tried any of these preamps/stompboxes? It seems like quality stuff

Yeah I've been interested in their V-1 to play voxish cleans into the effect return of my Mk50H, this or the Tech21 I thought.

They have two sorts of preamp, one more simple and one with more ins/outs and options for connecting (speaker sim and stuff). There are some cool youtube vids too.

I have a P-1 and am pretty happy with it. My gripe is that I'm not sure how road worthy they would be, they feel a bit cheaply put together (don't use planet waves cables with them, as they pull part of the socket surround off!)

For home use I'm really happy with mine though, for £80 it does a pretty convincing 5150 impression and has nice and usable tone/gain controls. Quiet, too.

I had 1 of their Distation pedals for a while (http://www.amtelectronics.com/products/guitar_series_fx_pedals/gitarnyjj_effekt_dist_station) that I got as part of a group buy with a Brown Sound in a Box II.

It was ok for the higher gain stuff on the Marshall and MESA type settings but I never really used it much, especially after I got my Quick Rod, so I sold it on.

Seemed like a decently built pedal, but had plastic jacks on it and some of the slider switches seemed a bit cheap.

I had the Fatal Tube for a while
Was interesting but not quite right for me - sold it on to one of the guys on here

Was a bit too fuzzy for my own particular tastes

tried the B1 (Bogner) for a week
it sucks
very brittle and way too much gain, treble and bass

Were you guys using them direct to power amp or through your existing preamps?

I tried both input and loop
into a bogner alchemist head for comparison
it actually sounded better into the clean channel than straight into the return
I had to crank the mids and dial out all the bass and treble on the pedal and lower the gain to 2 or it sounded pretty much like a cheap boss distortion pedal or something but with a ton of bass

To power amp, though there's also a cab sim out that I haven't used yet. To my ear the P-1 sounds like ass when used as a distortion pedal. Which is fair enough, since it isn't one.
