Fallen Poets play Dublin Castle, Camden!

Whoop, whoop!

Quite a big gig for us, and I know that there are loads of Laandeners on here, so if you find youselves in Camden on Wednesday 13th April, come and say hello!

We're first of 4 bands, on stage at about 8.

Mark.

I won't be there but good luck and hope you get a good review!
I think I hate being indecisive.

Yeah, I'll be there.
I'm not working the next day and a mid week session sounds just a treat.

Loud drunken jocks with guitar fixations and no idea when to stop spending money on drink allowed I take it?

Any-one else care to join in?

Well, I'm not promisin' nuthin... it kinda depends on work and what state that puts me in...

But I would be interested to see you guys in action. And although it's a "school-night", an 8pm start don't sound too bad for an oldie like me (and I do remember how lonely and barren a mid-week 8pm start can seem when standing on a stage in Camden... that was nearly 20 years ago though ), and I do work in Islington after all...

But like I say, I'm not promisin... especially if there's drunken jocks with the next day off, suggesting "hey! let's make a night of it and talk about strats and teles and Rory and stuff..."

Good luck if I don't make it... and er, good luck if I do!

It's in the diary... :D

Thanks guys - starting to look a the logistics now, and it's a nightmare!

I reckon that driving is the only realistic option - taking an afternoon off work sucks, but I can't think of another way of doing it...  And it's hellish around there for parking...

Don't fancy taking the Egnater, 2x12, 2x guitars and an effects board on the train!!!

It went well!

Not many people there, I managed to bring about 10 from work.  There were a couple of good bands on the bill, Natural Selection were headlining, and they were pretty cool - weird jazz/blues/folk/rap thing, but cool.

It's a great venue - great sound, great vibe.  Probably our best gig yet...

Yeah, I enjoyed it.
The tele sounded pretty damn good, in fact the whole band was sounding pretty good, but I thought the sound man made a bit of a mess of the vocals.
I tried telling the singer that, but at that point I'd had "a number" of large whisky's so it probably sounded like I was trying to incite violence.
Natural Selection were not really my cup of tea but interesting nonetheless.

I woke up the next morning covered in half eaten chicken kebab, urine and vomit. At least it was mine this time.
Good night all in really.
