How would you compare the aftermath to your emgs?  Could you also answer my question in regards to what would happen if I installed the the pickups in the bridge postion (it's a few posts up)

I cannot compare the emgs and the aftermath directly, since they were in different guitars and its some time ago. But I really like the aftermath for what I am doing (with this guitar mostly metalcore). The aftermath is less compressed, responses better to pick sensitivity, and lets you still hear the tone of your guitar. I still have my emgs lying around. For me, the aftermath is a best-of-mix between the painkiller and emgs, if that makes sense...

Sorry, I dont get your second question  :? Maybe it's my bad english.

So this is what I need in the bridge position then?

Also, what's the difference between 4 and 2 conductors and long and short legs?

I also need a real nice clean pickup to complement the aftermath. What do you guys suggest? I want something that will be able to help me achieve something similar to this.

short story. 4 conductor for coil split etc. the 121 comes with a 5 way selector.
Get short legs for versatility, if you wanna swap it into a trem guitar later on.

as for neck pickup.. i dont know? I dont use neck pickups
Your music will never be as hard as this!

If you want to sound like periphery then depending on your setup I'd get a Cold Sweat bridge and a Painkiller neck, as that's what they used on the record.
