Say you weren't worried about weight or anything, just huge, tight and awesome tone. In your opinion, what makes for the best box? Heavy material? Proper porting, either slotted or tubed? Shape or dimension? Yeah, you could copy an OS Mesa or something, but what would be better than that?

i think size dictates material.   on a small combo solid pine works wonders, but not so great on the 4x12's when good quality ply becomes the material of choice
