So I just came across these in Australian Guitar Magazine... Anyone compared them to their Biyang counterparts?

yeah i saw those in a mag here, I just assumed they were rebadged biyangs...
The biyangs I have sound pretty good, but I've had problems with their reliability, to the extent that I'm not buying any more. LOL.

They're going for about 2-3 times more than biyangs over here. Seems like akai are being a bit cheap, unless they're actually changing the guts of it.

I had the BiYang delay - sounded nice enough, a bit of a volume drop though, and it broke after a few months...

I have a biyand od8.
Everything has always been fine with it other than the cheap battery clip but that wasnt hard to replace.
Other than that its been pretty good and is actually my second favourite OD ever
it absolutely desroyed the TS9 that i had

My Biyang delay was ok, but a big volume boost when used. Also it wasn't true bypass as advertised at you could still hear the echo's when the pedal was turned off.
