Not into wrap-around bridges because of my string/tuning choices.

Can't decide about a H-X-X les paul. I either think it looks amazing or rotten haha! I'd get on with one great in practice though, never use the neck pickup in mine I find.

The bridge ruins it, how are you going to intonate that properly if you downtune it!??!

wraparound is cool! would be nice with a mini-HB in the neck and a full set of controls.

customs should have all the features I think.

All you philistines with your anti-wraparound sentiments!  :P

I think it looks great, but still think it would be better with the controls in a line like a Junior.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

You can get the intonation pretty close on the wrap arounds (I've heard a lot of ToM guitars which are worse than some of my wrap arounds).  Some of it might be string gauges (I tend to have 11-50 on wrap arounds).  PRS use a wrap around (albeit a compensated), because of the improvement in tone.  As Philly says, if you really want use a Pigtail or Tonepros adjustable tailpiece, though there were a lot of Badass bridges around in the 70's and people went back to the basics.

I love wrap arounds, I have lots of guitars with them (including new custom ones).  I do also like ToM's on guitars, but don't write off wrap arounds until you try them

Having said that, I actually like Led Paul customs with 2 pickups - wrap arounds or not.  I'm not as keen on the junior look, though a custom with a single P-90 and controls parallel to the string line would be something that I would like.
So many pickups, so little time

Of course you can change the stoptail, and of course they are perfectly workable with common string gauges in "standard" tunings. But when you're building a a guitar clearly angled towards a lot of people who are going to have big strings and low tunings, it seems bizarre not to stick something adjustable on it.
