Rebel Yell Playing Speed Riffs

Hey I think I'm going to put Rebel Yells in my Spalted Maple Telecaster. To give a little background on the guitar, it is an all mahogany guitar with two humbuckers, so it's only a Telecaster in name. The sound is basically a maple-topped Les Paul, and it even has a set neck.

Anyway, on to the pickups. I love the soundclips of the Rebel Yells, especially the Steve Stevens "heavy" clip. They just sound so rich and smooth distorted, its unbelievable. I also like the clean sounds a lot too.

My question is this:

These pickups are going into a guitar set for Eb standard tuning, and I'll occasionally do System of a Down type songs in drop C# tuning. How do the Rebel Yells handle speed riffing like SOAD's BYOB? I'm not looking to match his exact tone, because I like the natural tone of the RYs better, but I just want to know if they will handle the downtuned speed riffing ok. I've heard they're pretty tight, but are they tight enough?

Thanks

Nolly
