Luscious fuzz tone! (Live jam clip inside)

Putting the final touches onto my live/recording rig and in the process the Tommy Bolin fuzz has made its way back into my pedal board (and heart lol) ... this is an improv jam from last night's rehearsal:

Rig: Agile AL-2500 loaded with Lollar Imperials > Hartman Tommy Bolin fuzz > Nick Greer Sweetback Driver > Radial ABY> Output A, EAST Studio 2 > Eminence Wizard > Output B, Bumbox Cielo > Scumback M75

The clarity and musicality of the Bolin inspires a whole new style of play from me. Love it!

Tommy was the bomb! How much different is the hartman than to say the Zvex?

Totally different animals. I own several fuzz pedals. The Bolin is totally unique in that it's very clean, chimey, and musical sounding, not thick not over the top. The Bolin is a replica of his original Sam Ash fuzz.
