Can Trilogy Suites do Blues?!? I think they can
« on: May 20, 2011, 10:25:31 PM »
I've been determined to get a good recorded blues tone, cause I know these pickups rock at blues, and I've been getting into alot of blues playing lately. So with my new miced set up, I recorded this, it's still a rough draft, but all I gota do is track the lead without any mistakes.

Set up, Valveking 112 with a WGS V-30 speaker miced with a SM-58 going into and AudioChoice QM4 then line out into my line in on the soundcard, guitar is a 2006 Squier Affinity with a BKP Painkiller in the bridge, and BKP Trilogy Suites in the middle and neck. Bass is a Ibanez Gio with a GFS Pro B P pickup.

Middle pickup used for the rhythm guitars, neck pickup used for the leads, on the clean channel of my Valveking using a Ibanez Tube Screamer for the dirt.

I call the song....Rocken Sunday Blues...yeah haha.
Working on it.

Thanks.  I'm looking for something different than the usual vintage stuff (which I already have) and it's interesting to see these aren't just for modern metal / shred stuff.
